![]() If The Cave decides to keep things the way they are at the food stand, they might want to make a separate Yelp spot to claim to help keep the two sets of reviews separate. Which is probably a bad thing, since the rest of the venue seems pretty good. This review is based solely on the food here at Rockin' Burritos, the corner shop near the front of The Cave. ![]() In fact, I hate complaining about businesses and services, but our experience at this establishment was beyond poor, and being unable to get ahold of someone afterwards made it even worse. I do not take joy in writing reviews like this. We left without eating any of the food that we ordered. Further, cold meat is very dangerous for pregnant women to eat, as it contains bacteria that can be extremely harmful to the baby. They had to go the entire time without anything to drink. 2 of the people at our table are pregnant (that is who the Sprites were for). In addition, the food was so cold, it tasted like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. We asked for the Sprites (now our 3rd time asking for them) and the bartender rolled her eyes, threw her hands up in frustration, and walked away. The bartender's thumb was IN the cheese of one of the nacho plates. When we finally got our food, we were given 3 carne asada nachos and 4 carne asada tacos. The food took an unusually long time to get, but, again, we didn't complain and waited patiently. She informed us she would bring them to the table from the back. During the ordering phase, we asked for the Sprites 2 separate times. Instead of being served a Coors Light, the bartender poured an 805, which we took without asking for the correct beer. We thought that was a little high, but we were happy to be out of the cold and finally eating after a busy day. ![]() Our order was 2 pint beers (1 Modelo and 1 Coors light), 2 Sprites, 2 chicken nachos, 1 carne asada nachos, 2 chicken tacos, and 2 carne asada tacos. The first thing that went wrong was when ordering food and drinks. Unfortunately, from start to finish, our experience was filled with bad interactions with the bartender, and very poor customer service. My family and I were visiting Big Bear for the day, and decided to visit this establishment for a late lunch/early dinner. I called multiple times (was unable to leave a voicemail because it was full), and I emailed but I never received a phone call or email back. I didn't want to have to post a public review like this, however, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of a manager or the owner of this place. ![]()
